How does your food grow?

Come join us on a 6-week journey through our outdoor garden, with a strong focus on hands-on horticulture and plant science. Participants will explore how food is grown from seed to harvest while building practical gardening skills. Along the way, kids will learn about the important role of pollinators like bees and butterflies, discover how humans have grown food throughout history, and see how gardening has evolved over time to support healthy communities, ecosystems, and cultures. Through exploration, observation, and play, participants will connect with nature and gain a deeper understanding of where their food comes from.

*Note: This is an outdoor program. Please dress appropriately for the weather. In the event of rain, activities will take place under a canopy. Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian 18 years of age or older.

Registration begins Monday, April 27th!

A collaboration with UW–Madison Extension Programs: Horticulture, Health & Well-Being, 4-H, and the Oshkosh Public Library.
